Ms Kim Gates

Director, Council for Aboriginal Alcohol Program Services (CAAPS), (NT)

Ms Gates has worked in the alcohol and other drug sector for a period of eight years. She has been employed at the Council for Aboriginal Alcohol Program Services in Darwin in the Northern Territory for a period of five years, three of which she has held the position of Director. Prior to that Ms Gates was the administrator of the Ngnowar Aerwah Aboriginal Corporation in Wyndham in Western Australia. Ms Gates has a particular interest in the area of alcohol and other drug issues for Indigenous families.
